Holly Macdonald
Design for Adult Publishing
Holly Macdonald is the Art Director for HarperCollins Fiction and Non Fiction adult divisions. After graduating from the University of the Arts with a degree in Illustration in 2006 she worked as both an in-house and freelance designer for a number of publishers including Transworld, Bloomsbury and Oneworld. She joined HarperCollins in 2015 and has since designed covers for a wide range of authors including Agatha Christie, Bernard Cornwell, Tracy Chevalier and Joanna Cannon. Most notably she designed the cover for Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine which has now sold over 3 million copies.
Tiffany Leeson
Design for Children’s Publishing
Tiffany Leeson is a Creative Director in Farshore Books (part of HarperCollins). She’s been working with Illustrators, Designers, Authors and Editors to create books for all children for over 25 years. She previously worked for Walker Books and Ladybird, before heading up a team of designers at Farshore. She has designed and art directed a wide variety of books for many different genres ranging from Michael Morpurgo fiction to Helen Oxenbury picture books and gaming books. The Minecraft Handbooks, have now sold over 21 million copies worldwide. She particularly loves finding and developing new and emerging illustrators.
